All of our wedding planning friends in NYC are always jealous of the historic space we have to host weddings in Philadelphia {and rightly so…}; and we’re pretty jealous of the number of ‘white box’, loft style spaces they have in NYC…. they are a great blank canvass for a personalized wedding.
Well, we’re getting there; as Philly’s latest event space is about to reopen – Hamilton Garden!
Hamilton Garden at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts has recently undergone an AMAZING transformation – gone are the huge planters that broke up the space and the pipe and drape to segment off the kitchen area…
What you’ll find now is a beautiful rooftop space situated above the Perelman Theater has warm and inviting blond wood, a built in warming kitchen, an open floor plan with air conditioning, sound proofing, glass ceiling panels which tint and views up and down the Avenue of the Arts; perfect for intimate receptions and ceremonies.
Additionally, fabulous food and service by the catering team of Iron Chef Jose Garces are sure to make this new loft style space one of the most sought after spaces in the city.
We were excited to get a sneak peek with some of the Garces team during a recent visit to the Kimmel for the Best of Philly {Philadelphia Magazine} event – IT LOOKS GREAT; we can’t wait to work there in September for our bride Brooke's wedding!
