We’re foodies, we admit it!

And we tend to attract couples who are foodies and want to include some of the hottest ideas.

We’ve worked with LOTS of couples including fresh, seasonal, local foods. We’ve done Tapas styled receptions with multiple short plates, family style and even a Kosher reception with a 7 course tasting menu paired with wines.

One of our favorite trends has got to be food trucks – Maggie and Joe’s Washington DC reception included treats from CapMac DC. An INSANE macaroni and cheese truck we try to check out whenever we’re in DC.

Guest were treated to their Classic CapMac – (Cheddar, pimento, cheez-it crumble) and Goat Cheese Mac (Goat and mascarpone cheese sauce) as they left the reception venue and headed for the after party.

The next great trend foodies are buzzing about would have to be Southeast Asian!

No, we’re not talking sushi, standard fare dumplings or shumai – not even the over promised, under delivered ‘chicken sate with Thai Peanut Sauce’.

We’re looking at experiencing AMAZING, flavorful street food from Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam! Foods that combine salty, sweet, spicy and sour all in one bite…

Miniature, one bite lettuce wraps, takeout boxes of coconut curry, lemongrass pork, Pho and bite sized Vietnamese bahn mi sandwiches.
With Philly’s great Southeast Asian community and restaurants lining Washington Avenue,

We're expecting we’ll see this trend spread to banquets menus faster and will more authenticity and flavor than a lot of other parts of the country…

YUM, can’t wait for some of our upcoming weddings to see who is showcasing these flavors in their tastings!
