They were a couple who when we first met I knew we’d really connect  planning….

They too love good food and good wine; they wanted their reception to be served Tapas Style just like their favorite restaurant in Philly….

They also are friends with Greg and Liz Shockley owners of Sage Catering who would do the catering and who I’d been waiting to meet….

{Truthfully Greg blew me away with the tasting, and I hope we get to team up again}

The dinner started with a plated Mango Gazpacho, then each table received family style platters of cured meats, cheeses and olives with grilled breads, garbanzo puree and assorted dipping aioli while Jillian and Jamie were introduces, did their first dance and welcomed guests….

The rest of the evening consisted of courses of small platters for guests to share with each other – each table tried: Grilled flat-bread with wild mushrooms and grilled fennel as well as braised short rib, arugula and Manchego, slow roasted golden beets and asparagus, figs and goat cheese, garlic shrimp, Parmesan crusted artichokes, chicken churrasco, roasted mushrooms and peppers and pan seared sea bass with spinach, saffron and fried olives….

We closed out the meal with this bright summery cake from Sweet Jazmines

The food and wine weren’t the only AMAZING details …..

Their Main Line home and reception tent were decorated with beautiful flowers with antique glass, hanging pendants and a stunning living floral chandelier by Honey Bunches Floral Design; sage and lace linen alongside white chiavari chairs and beautiful lighting by Eventions Productions..

 

  

CTO M3 and Divalicious totally rocked the house….

And my favorite details were little touches that Jillian herself did like the cute signs welcoming guests and vintage figurines on their table …..

 

It was a beautiful summer wedding and people had the times of their lives…
