whew…… finally caught up!

This morning Jamie, Sean and I met with Donna Storm from My 106.1 and tried some AMAZING wedding cake samples from Bredenbeck’s Bakery in Chestnut Hill.

Maria brought us samples of some traditional and not so traditional flavors…. vanilla, chocolate chip, lemon, raspberry swirl, chocolate and pumpkin spice pound cakes…

And she also brought them several options of wedding cake designs…

Continuing with the fall theme Sean and Jamie picked alternating layers of the pumpkin spice pound cake, and the more traditional vanilla pound cake…

Fear NOT chocolate lovers… Foodwerx and Aloft have other dessert treats instore – they are bound to have something chocolate

For the design they picked – New Yorker – a stacked cake with slightly off centered tiers, ribbon in chocolate brown, and some piped scrolling… which will be accented with fresh fall flowers.
