The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants seems to work with a lot of couples who are REALLY into food, not just the reception, but food and cooking in general….

Part of the attraction is that I graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and I bond well with foodies…

My background as a chef is a huge plus when it comes to working on developing a reception menu…

Well now I can help couples take this passion one step further-

The Culinary Institute of America recently announced Culinary Boot Camps – a variety of culinary classes for those about to walk down the aisle — or those considering the ideal “foodie” honeymoon.

Looking for a quick getaway that won’t break the bank – they are offering two, four and five day classes ranging from basic skills, BBQ, and hors d’oeuvres to Asian, French and Pastry…

They’ve also got Saturday Clases….

Hyde Park is less than 2 hours away from Manhattan via Grand Central trains, or a beautiful drive up the Hudson River. The classes could be part of a vacation package for newlyweds, as the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York State offers elegant restaurants, high-end bed and breakfasts, summer and winter sports and numerous historic sites.

They are also offering a luxurious culinary vacation called “Sophisticated Palate” at Greystone, their Napa Valley campus in California. Sophisticated Palate combines classes with trips to exclusive vineyards, olive groves and local farms and ranches.

Now THAT is my idea of a vacation!
