Ladies and Gentleman….

The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants is pleased to introduce for the first time….

Christina Gargano-Lupo our Invitation and Graphic Design Specialist….Christina has an extensive background in both wedding and corporate event planning and graphic design – so she’ll be kept busy….

Christina works with each of our new clients and can assist in designing anything from save the dates and invitations to thank you notes… her skill offers us the ability to design monograms to be projected on a dance floor, bags for out of town guests, and custom labels.

Christina’s researched several lines of unique invitations ranging form classic to contemporary, letter press or eco-friendly…. or if a custom design is more your style she’s covered that too…

Here’s a glimpse of the Q&A I did with Christina:

Mark: How did you get started in this business?

Christina: I worked as a bartender all through college then moved to NYC after graduation to work for a fashion designer. To supplement my income, I worked as a bartender for a catering company and then starting booking parties for them. When I moved back to Philly I was working as a graphic designer for a prominent investment firm when my boss realized my additional skills and asked me to handle the entire corporate event planning as well. And thus a long and prosperous career of graphic design and event planning had begun.

Mark: What is the highlight of your career so far?

Christina: Designing the invitation and then planning an event for 1200 people at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the Salvador Dali exhibit and then winning an industry award for Event of the Year.

Mark: Tell us something about you that most people wouldn’t know.

Christina: I am an avid cook and I love Top Chef!

Mark: What is one common mistake brides make in planning? What would you have done differently planning your own wedding?

Christina: I should have let other people help me! I felt so overwhelmed with trying to get everything done for the wedding and managing my job.
