Today I spent the morning over at 106.1 with Gian Carlo – Associate Director of Catering from The Hyatt Regency Penns Landing talking about the beautiful hotel and the AMAZING brunch they have lined up for Lisa and Victor. What a beautiful place for their wedding…and the views of Penns Landing, the bridges and the ships make a great backdrop.
We also talked about the fact that in general a great way to save on a wedding reception is by booking off-season, off-prime day… like a morning event on Friday …
We’ll be using a portion of the hotels Columbus Ballroom for Lisa and Victor’s wedding ceremony, as guests leave the ceremony they’ll be greeted by Champagne, Mimosas and Bloody Marys as well as some butlered “noshes”.
Guests will then be treated to the hotels Penns Landing Champagne Brunch – including fresh fruit and fruit juices, assorted muffins, danish and coissants, a chef attended omlette station, breakfast meats and potatoes, French toast, a cheese display, grilled vegetables, plum tomato and mozzarella salad, grilled chicken with corn and portabella mushrooms , sauteed salmon with a tomato and sesame relish, and much, much more….
I’m sure the family and friends invited to the wedding will be blown away…
Tomorrow we get to talk about how they did with shopping for a gown and getting fitted for Victor’s tuxedo
