Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with an AMAZING woman –
Neshama Carlebach – neshama is the Hebrew word for soul and her parents must have known the future for this incredibly soulful singer-
Daughter of the legendary Jewish singer-songwriter Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach she started her professional career at the age of 15.
Neshama along with her producer David Morgan played for the wedding of Sara and Scott – providing beautiful background for the Badeken, as well as the ceremony under the Chuppah.
Neshama and David then joined my friends from the award winning band Jellyroll for a dance-floor PACKED hora that lasted over 30 minutes.
(we had to stop it as Sara was wilting and we needed to get the evening rolling – they could have gone all night)
This beautiful wedding was held at The Westin- Philadelphia –
if you haven’t been to the Westin since they renovated- you need to check it out! The rich tones and clean lines made a great back drop – Stewart Mahan and Pat DelVecchio and their staff were GREAT to work with!
I can’t wait to share images from this one photographed by Cliff Mautner and videography by Doug and Lance Rivers of Video Coverage.
