I love the Philadelphia wedding market!
It’s so diverse- everything from classic downtown hotels, to historic landmarks and even beaches – it crosses into 3 state.
While I do mostly Philadelphia weddings, with some South Jersey weddings ( the shore too!) – I very seldom get to do Delaware weddings…
No special reason- just happens that way- event though I do business with some amazing Delaware wedding professionals.
This weekend I had the pleasure of working at two amazing Delaware wedding venues –
Beth and Jon’s rehearsal dinner was hosted at the Winterthur County Estate
The dinner was held on the patio of the visitors center – a fun upscale BBQ complete with steel drums, tons of sunflowers and an do-it-yourself ice cream buffet.
Thanks to Restaurant Associates’ Rachel Cowit for doing such a great job!
Saturday’s events were held at Wilmington’s famous Hotel du Pont
In 100 degree weather the beautiful DuBarry Ballroom was the perfect place for their ceremony- followed by dinner and dancing in the Gold Ballroom.
I’m very happy to have been able to work with Jillian Cournoyer, Catering Sales Manager for the hotel who kept everything cool on one of the hottest days on record.
What a great weekend in Delaware!
