Today was the last day of the 2008 Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s -2008 Philadelphia Flower Show – themed Jazz It Up!
The Flower Show is always a lot of fun and as Horticultural Society Member s we never miss it.
Because of my hectic schedule this week we had to wait till the last day – fortunately we snuck in early before the crowds
The colors this year were AMAZING because of the Jazz It Up – New Orleans theme
The best part for me is knowing and having worked with so many of the competitors…
Check out the main entrance – an exhibit by our friends as Lamsback Floral Decorators – an archway of floating piano keys complete with waterfall
Then the surrounded the centerpiece with six different color contrasted jazz lounges…
Michael Bruce out did himself this year with this contemporary mix of structure, flowers, texture and light…
Robertsons did a modern musical dining arrangement
And Jamie Rothstein took a more romantic twist on NOLA with a garden and parlor display
Absolutely worth the trip …if you can put the first week in March on your calendar for next year the flower show is worth the trip.
