This isn't just a turkey as you can plainly see.

I made it with my hand which is a part of me.

It comes with lots of love especially to say,

I hope you have a very, Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving is always a bittersweet time of reflection in my house…

It's a great time to look back on the relationships both personal and professional that I have built over the last year…

And there have been many – I am truly blessed that The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants has afforded me the chance to meet, work with and remain friends with some amazing families.

And, for that I am very, very thankful –

I've also worked and built some amazing relationships with wedding consultants and other wedding professionals from across the region and across the country.

This is NOT a one man operation! I'm merely the conductor of an orchestra with many instruments – building the right team is what makes couple's day of a lifetime what it is.

I'm also thankful that I can work at something I really love –

I also would be remiss if I didn't admit that as any wedding consultant / small business owner / entrepreneur will admit – the early years in a business are very lean, EVERYTHING goes back into the business, advertising and letting people know what a great product or service you offer…

I am very thankful to my family, and to Chuck for being so supportive of me following my dream, through the lean years, the crazy schedules, and many evenings and weekends helping make other peoples dreams come to life…

The bitter part of the sweet is in all this Thanksgiving reflection I also mark the anniversary of my mother's passing…

I'm very thankful for all that she and my father instilled in me growing up – the respect for others, the value of hard work, and the importance of surrounding yourself with people who are caring and respectful of others.

While not a day goes by that I don't miss them, and as we enter into one of my favorite times of the year – I'm truly blessed as what they taught me has really shaped the person, business person and wedding consultant I have become.

Have an amazing Thanksgiving!
