As a wedding consultant (and a former chef) one of the coolest things I get to do is go to tastings with clients…

This one was really enjoyable as Karen and Bill are a fun couple- they love food – Karen's dad is a chef!.

The tasting was with Feastivities – located in Manayunk – the room where we had out tasting is called "Indulge".One of the cool things about tastings at Feastivities (other than the great food) is that their tasting rooms have a glass wall that faces into the kitchen.
So not only do their chef, sous chef and pastry chef come in and describe everything to you- but you are watching the rest of the crew prepping food for the upcoming events…

That's a gutsy move – I'm not sure every caterer is ready to have their clients practically sitting in the middle of the space where the staff is prepping food…
