As a professional wedding consultant:

It is the practice of The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants NOT to tell brides-to-be NO to anything short of setting the groom on fire!

It’s not my day!

My job is to offer options and suggestions, to be there to assist you in your wedding planning…not to do thing MY WAY….

But there is becoming a really gray area in wedding planning… when it comes to song selections….

“Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover” –

IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE ON YOUR WEDDING DAY!

Another really poor choice might be Freda Payne – “Band of Gold” any song that talks about ‘the dream of what love could be , if you were still here with me”  is not really a fun wedding song…

It ranks right up there with Patsy Cline “Crazy” – “crazy for loving you” probably isn’t appropriate for your wedding vows so maybe you shouldn’t play it at your wedding reception either (?)

IF YOU NAME IS SUE… think about NOT playing “Runaround Sue” by Dion…

The last one on my list – “Time to say goodbye” by Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman – beautiful song – I think anything sounds beautiful in Italian…

The English translation still talks about a life lived alone and seeing places without your love….it really walks a fine line…

So, what are the songs on your list?
