As a wedding consultant I spend a good part of the day at weddings trying to keep brides clean…
Â
White sheet on the ground during photos, carrying the train so it doesn’t get dirty, white wine or champagne so it doesn’t stain, chalk to cover spots, shout wipes for some fabric….Â
Â
Â
So when photographers started doing ‘trash the dress” shots, I was a little worried. Â
Â
Â
Photographers have been submitting photos to Trash the Dress from all over…they ranger from urban to beach, to very rustic scenery… not all really ‘trashing’ the dress…Â
  Â
Â
More like cool artistic shots you’d be too uptight to do on your wedding day for fear of looking a mess in your gown in front of grandparents, your boss, your new in-laws…    Â
Â
Here are some great shots of my clients Julie and Mark – the shots are really great – relaxed fun, artsy – definitely not the shots you’d get on your wedding day.

Thanks to Laura and Paul Eaton of Laura Eaton Photography for sharing the images from their trash the dress shoot.   Â
