Ok, highly controversial topic…

 

Because I do a lot of teaching, networking and continuing education I get a lot of calls/ emails from other wedding professionals asking about “wedding consultants”.

 

It’s usually “hey, have you ever heard of…?”

 

Some I have, some I haven’t and most I Google or find their website and check them out… never bad to know about the new kids on the block…

 

….. A pause while I step on my soap box……

 

WHO ARE YOU? 

 

I’m blown away by the number of people who do the: “we have 15 years experience” – Who’s WE? What Experience?

 

‘About us”…and then tell you nothing about them except for what they will do for you…

 

Do brides buy this?

 

This is a business of personal relationships, with wedding professionals, brides and their families

 

Don’t be afraid to show your face, tell people what you’ve done (even if you’re new- we all started somewhere)… put a person’s name on the WE….

 

Anyone who wants to know about me, my background, what I’ve done… ask me… or better yet ask any of my clients or colleagues…
