I recently had a Matron of Honor (MOH) who really didn’t want to share the toast she had written…. the bride insisted –

And I’m really glad she did…. Below is her toast – it’s actually an excerpt from:

“The Art of A Good Marriage” by W.A. Peterson

Happiness in a marriage doesn’t just happen, it must be cultivated.

In Marriage the ‘little’ things ARE the big things.

They are:

· Never be too old to hold hands.

· Remember to say “ I LOVE YOU” at least once a day.

· Never go to sleep angry.

· Have the capacity to forgive and forget.

· Give each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.

It’s not only marrying the right person…. It’s being the right partner.

I’m really glad she read this….

I know it was something I needed to hear….
