One of the ongoing issues amongst myself and other wedding consultants – in regard to our BLOGS-  has always been…

 How much is too much?

Do we share too much of our personal life?

Can we talk about client experiences without naming names?

Do we talk about wedding professionals we have relationships with?

I’ve already ruled out the political and religious discussions – I share some of the fun no too personal, personal stuff – I chat about general client experiences without naming names…

And up until now I have not talked about any of the wedding professionals I have relationships with –

THE FACT IS– most consultants shy away from this because they are afraid that people will read the names of the professionals with whom they work, run out and book them and NOT book the consultant.

Most of the people who are on the BLOG looking for a name are typically not looking to invest in a professional wedding consultant  -yes, they now have the name of a great professional – I’m always happy to refer business to good people – But unless they match your specific needs of style, budget, availability they may be of no use to you.

I have always stayed away from posting about wedding professionals by name not because I’m afraid of “giving away information”. But because I worried what other professionals would think if I didn’t talk about them….

The REALITY IS – What I do is create a value for my clients…I get it…. I get to know each client to help eliminate stress, streamline the planning process and the selection of wedding professionals who match their needs…

But what I do is collaborative effort – I collaborate with some of the best wedding professionals in the region…and my clients benefit from that collaboration…

SO, FROM HERE ON OUT – If I’m meeting with, learning about, or dealing with a specific wedding professional; collaborating with someone on a clients wedding…I’m likely to name names…

It doesn’t mean that they are the ONLY professional of their product or service I deal with or the BEST or my FAVORITE…just someone I RESPECT with whom I have recent interaction…

So if I’m not talking about you…maybe you need to drop me a line, give me a buzz, or reacquaint me with your product or service –

So hopefully you, my clients and I all benefit from re-establishing our relationship.
