Happy Turkey Day!

I’m really glad when Thanksgiving doesn’t end up being a day of stuffing yourself, watching football (I actually like watching football, just not marathons of games), and scooping out all the sales circulars for Black Friday.

This year was the ideal Thanksgiving for me…this Thanksgiving was the 20th anniversary of my mother’s passing…. the law was laid down back in the early spring…
“Make no other plans – we will all be together at our house for dinner- period.”

No arguments, no discussion- everyone was there – I emailed to check on special requests… celery with cream cheese, and plenty of white meat was the only requests…
Even “ C” who is a vegetarian was happy with the entire menu – sans turkey and gravy- and making his own veggie burger.

We enjoyed a great day together – told stories about mom and dad and remembered the holidays when we were kids – no fighting, no over eating, no falling a sleep on the sofa after dinner…

Of all the blessings I have this year – of good health, business success, and great friends…the one I value most is family.

Wishing you all the best of Hearts, Health and Happiness.
