Much like wedding consulting – itâ€™s not nearly as glamorous as people think it isâ€¦
I was long, to hours in whatever hotel or club I was working at, and my social like evolved around workâ€¦
FOOD was my life.
And it showedâ€¦at one point in about 1992 I was up to 265 poundsâ€¦ and something had to giveâ€¦
One of the things I learned is that instead of enjoying food it became a substitute for all the stuff I missed out onâ€¦
I wasnâ€™t eating because I was around foodâ€¦I ate because I had no social life, no family life, and when I finished work at 2 AM there was nothing to do but eatâ€¦
As I developed other interests, and relationships I was able to change my eating habitsâ€¦. and now that Iâ€™ve been out of the business for over 6 yearsâ€¦
I really love food againâ€¦. I enjoy cooking good meals at home, entertaining friends, family holiday dinnersâ€¦ all the reasons I got into the business in the first placeâ€¦
