ok…ok…. I listened to everyone who said “”You post on message boards for wedding consultants, you write for magazines….when are you doing a blog?”

So, being a 45-year-old former chef, restaurateur turned professional wedding consultant…my initial response was: BLOG?

I never kept a diary, so this will be a truly unique venture for me…

What I want to do is….

  • Offer prospective clients some insight to the guy behind The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants(QOH).
  • Offer some great wedding tips, and links to wedding “stuff” *.
  • And, to keep family, friends, colleagues, clients and prospective client up to date on what’s going on in my corner of the world.
  • AND, have some fun along the way….

* STUFF – when I started my business I decided that I didn’t want to do ‘stuff’ – not invitations, favors, flowers…didn’t want to rent birdcages, silver cake platforms…

NO STUFF…

I wanted to build a relationship with couples designing, planning, and organizing the biggest day of their lives – get them through it with as little stress as possible, as much free time for themselves as possible, as little family drama as possible ….. make the day reflect them…. their taste, style, interest and personality

That involves organization, communication, research, knowing some great wedding professionals….but in my case not selling ‘stuff’… there are some really great people who sell ‘stuff’….some really cool stuff….. and that’s all they specialize in is ‘stuff.

My “stuff” is all about building relationships…
